Let's hit all the vitals:

The Northwest fills the lungs, heals the pain in my chest. I remain blessed. Steppin' on rain with each step.

I can’t wait until my town feels safe & secure again. There have been three unsolved stabbings this year within a square mile of my home, one against a 19 year old girl(rip), a 51 year old man & a 61 year old woman(rip). The last stabbing was only two weeks ago and was much more malicious and conspicuous than previous. The attacker is getting more and more comfortable, all three stabbings were seen by multiple people, one person even confronted him. It was in the news paper that the three attacks form a perfect triangle. The experts are saying because of that and because all three were during the day on major roads while traffic was passing, this guy is probably trying to get caught or wants the thrill. He isn’t doing much to not get caught and I just want it over. I don’t understand how one man can scare an entire city. There are posters & flyers everywhere of him. HE IS ONLY 17-21!!! Crazy.

Taking our two pups out to the back yard has become the worst part of my day. Once you go out my front door you have to walk around the side of the house about 20 feet to the back yard, then walk to the furthest side to get the motion sensor light to turn on. I can’t even walk to my back yard without trembling and my heart pounding. Every time Josh or I are alone we make sure Rocco is by our side, he is much larger than other frenchies(42 lbs of complete muscle) he isn’t the least bit vicious but he does have a really edgy bark, I wouldn’t mess with him.

I just don’t feel safe. Josh and I chose this area because it was safe. In all honesty, I don’t feel safe at all. This is my home town & it’s really sad to see everyone looking over their shoulders instead of saying hello. Just weird.

More of the puppies tonight. Next Opie hurdles; completing outside potty training & leash training using Rocco as his seeing eye dog! (Taken with instagram)
