Alright guys! We have got to help this little booger out. He has a very similar condition to little Opie and needs specialist vet care as well. This is a true story so any negativity isn’t needed. If you are planning on sending any their way send it to me and I will set you straight. I can’t explain how much every ones support mean’t to us going through Opies ordeal. Those few messages that were negative really knocked us down. They REALLY don’t need it! I will be donating on behalf of Opie. Thank you all. Lets get Napoleon the help he needs!

After an exhausting 24 hours I have decided to write this post ( and make this this video). One to educate people and two to start a fundraising raffle for napoleons on going expensive treatment.
Meet Napoleon he is a 7 year old boston terrier. He is the love of my life and means the world to me. About a 3 years ago napoleon developed a blueish color to his eye and the vet said ” oh thats cataracts and there really isn’t much we can do for it, if we did, it will just come back, if its not bothering him just leave it be”. Now 3 years later he is bothered by it, so I immediately went to the vet out here which told me he had a ULCER & is 100% blind in that eye and it could have been prevented. They gave me drops and sent me on my way. It helped but a fews later ( now) it is back to bothered him so much now that it almost looks like his eye is melting, he wont open his eye, and he has lots of discharge. I see the regular vets do not know much about eyes as this vet even said “its not cataracts because its only in one eye, which is a false statement, dogs can have it in just one eye!!!! Either way I went to the specialist and napoleon is now fighting to keep this eye, a fight he will most likely loose. They will make that choice ( with me) on monday during his recheck! Until then he gets 2 different drops every 2 hours, then 2 different pills once a day, anti fungal 4 times a day, and a alpine drop 2 times a day. all together 6 different meds, on top of the injection he got at the specialist and all the tests that were ran there as well. The bill just for the specialist visit was 684.00, and if he has to have his eye removed he said it will be 1500.00 just for the removal. I am not one to ask for donations so what I decided I would do is run a raffle. Every 5$ gets you a ticket into one of the three raffles I am running. I have one for a acoustic guitar ( the only people who can enter this raffle have to be within 1 hr of westchester,ny or rochester,ny) everyone else would need to put their tickets into either the three piece canvas set, or the dog outfit lot. 100% of the money will go toward his treatment and any left over ( if there is ) will go to NEBTR ( a boston terrier rescue near me that I recently started to get involved with). Thank you so much on behalf of napoleon and myself, your support , encouraging words, and kind words mean the world to me. It honestly is the only thing keeping stitched together, that and my phone which has an alarm going off every 2 hours to give him his meds.
here is a link where you can make your donation ( please indicate which raffle you want to enter )
